On Thursday May 1st, the country goes to the ballot box. The BNP are standing in 23 areas and are convinced that this will be their most successful election to date. In London the threat from the far right is more tangible - they only require 5% of the vote to secure 1 seat on the London Assembly. In 2004 they came within 5,000 votes of achieving this goal and are running an active campaign to promote their candidates. We must not forget who the BNP are or what they represent. Apathy is not an excuse. USE YOUR VOTE and urge your friends and family to do the same. The BNP will be successful if people don't vote and turnout levels remain low.
